Azərbaycanın kamança ustadı Habil Əliyevin xatirəsinə həsr olunmuş tədbir
On October 12, 2015 an event to commemorate Habil Eliyev, national artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, renowned Azerbaijani kamancha player was held at the Niavaran Cultural Center in Tehran. The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Orientation of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Niavaran Cultural Center in Tehran. The speakers, including Mr. S.A.Sajjadi, managing director of the Niavaran Cultural Center, Mr. Ali Mouradkhani, deputy minister of Culture and Islamic Orientation recalled their memories related to late Habil Eliyev and underlined that he had been very famous and popular in Iran, as well.
H.E. Javanshir Akhundov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Iran thanked the organizers of the event and highly praised Habil Eliyev’s unique style of playing kamancha in his remarks.
Mr. Ali Amiraliyev, grandson of Habil Eliyev appreciated efforts of organizers of commemoration event as well as thanked the audience for their love and respect expressed to Habil Eliyev. Mr. Amiraliyev, and the granddaughter of late Mohammad Reza Shajarian who had performed together with Habil Eliyev in Iran were presented souvenirs on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Orientation of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Niavaran Cultural Center in Tehran.
Mrs. Zumrud Dadashzade-Akhundova, professor of Baku Music Academy elaborated on the art of Habil Eliyev and underlined his kind personality and simplicity. According the professor Dadashzade, Habil Eliyev’s genuine style was highly valued by great performers and artists.
A number of famous Iranian kamancha players, such as Amir Yusifi, Ali Akbar Shikarchi and performers from Azerbaijan – Elshan Mansurov and Ismayil Hamidov played mugham and tasnifs.
Performance of Rast mugham by Vadud Muazzin Erdebilli of Iran and Azerbaijani kamancha players was met by huge applause of the audience.
