President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and special envoy for Caspian issues, Ibrahim Rahimpur.

 Ibrahim Rahimpur conveyed congratulations on behalf of President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani to President Ilham Aliyev congratulated on the occasion of the upcoming holiday of Novruz. Ibrahim Rahimpur expressed his satisfaction with the visit to Azerbaijan on the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the meeting with President Ilham Aliyev.

 President Ilham Aliyev recalled with satisfaction his meeting with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani in Davos. The President stressed that the meeting of the Presidents had given an impetus to the development of bilateral relations between our countries.

 The sides exchanged views on ways of expanding bilateral and multilateral relations between the two countries in various fields.

  President Ilham Aliyev also expressed his gratitude for the greetings from President Hassan Rouhani on the occasion of Novruz and asked the deputy minister to convey his greetings to the President of Iran.
